The worst films of Malayalam cinema in 2019 – ranked!
2019 has been a pretty fantastic year for Mollywood. However, bad films continue to be made and there's no stopping that. Here I'm attempting to rank the worst Malayalam films of 2019. It's probably a very biased list and you will notice some outliers. But that's the fun in it, ain't it! Without further ado, let's start...
5) Mikhael
Wow. This film is directed by Haneef Adeni the famous director and I except too much for the movie because the film The Great Father. My exceptation gone to hell after watching this movie. What a thriller uff the goosebumps are still in it. It's a another cheated film after adaar love. The film trailer gives many expectations but the film fail purely. The film is a thriller but the film is a comedy for me. The fights are another level. It's like jackie chan fight. What a fight, what a villain. It's not a tragedy it's comedy.
4) Oru Adaar Love
This is the another total failure attempt from mollywood in 2019. The very brilliant movie directed by omar lulu. His recent films also very brilliant and carried universal messeges that we know. This film is totally not agree with this reaction it's all above that. The week story line ia the major villain. All in the film are villain's just say. The film misunderstood the audience too much. The contentless is very attractive kind. This film is filled with many jokes. This film is totally a joke. So the director doesn't do any other jobs. This type of vuggler director i never seen before. How can he take films like this. It's a cheating. Pure cheating. How I describes about the movie. I don't want to say anything that type of crap film. The climax movie refers very sentimental. But for me I laughed mang times during the climax. What a fresh idea.
3) Ittymaani: Made in China
This film is directed by Jibi Joju. This is one of the worst movie of 2019. The aim of the movie is carry a fresh and fresh messege give to audience. That tell to voice and convince that to voice in the movie not visuals. Cinema is not like radio that's forgot the makers. One of the wonder is whether the Director refers to Mere Duplicate by the tagline Made in China . Ittymaani tells a loose story, with making audience bored to bored by wasting the talents of a great actor Mohanlal. Seriously I don't know why I watched this movie fully. That level of cheap making in this film. This film not required for complete watch. The message of this film is just good but couldn't execute it well enough to entertain the audience or couldn't give any kind of an emotional attachment that's the biggest failure of the movie. I didn't find any good performance from any of it's cast. Audience should get special award for watching these kind of crappy movies in theatre. That i say. I purely say old wine in old bottle . The story lacks very depth, and it gives an very old message. Pure commercial movie aimed at Onam , for family. I would say people should evolve with better ideas, even if its a commercial entertainer. Anyway thia movie torture me one time. That's all.
2) Mera Naam Shaji
This movie is the another disastrous movie for me in this year. I'm Extremely disappointed comparing the previous Nadirsha movies and for the movie. It's a crap film not any content in this film. The flawless comedies makes me angry. Very disappointed script and lack the punch makes the movie very unimpressive. This film Scenes and the comedies are seen before in many films year's and year's. The movie is too long struggling to find the end and it was so pathetic way. The actual story line is utter failure and filled with so much cliche and slapstick things this is all over the film minute by minute. No story in this film that's i can purely say and just some usual comedy stuff joined together. I don't know what is the aim of the movie. And what is the director things about the content of the movie. Nadirsha seems to be running out of ideas this is my thing. There is nothing much to laugh. Mera Naam Shaji fail to impress with it's week writing. This is the nadrisha's worst movie of his career.

This film is one of the most vulgar movie in this year. Not this year also one of the lifetime for me. I have never seen in this type of mass scene. What a disastrous making. This movie is directed by Praveen Prabharam. The music carried by Jakes Bejoy that's the only positive in this movie. The mass scene's not engaging for me. Also it's too predictable movie. We can predict what's the climax or what's the next scean. I don't know where is the sense of the director. The minimum logic may keep any film. I don't know what about telugu film that's not the subject in this category. For a malayalam film it's very shaming film. Many portions of this movie a resemblances to many recent utter crap masala films. Flabby writing is the main drawback in this film. The script is total waste and the logic flying in the sky. The sky remembers me the villain's. The villain's many times flying in this film and that is the best mass scene in the movie. One think please remain the film viewers is not soo fool. Please don't they make fools. This type of movie's is remove from logic to people's and make brainless.
NB: I haven't got the chance to see many notable films that released in this year including Moothon, Finals, Standup, Chola, Neeyum Njanum, Praana, Sathyam Paranja Vishwasikuvo, Oolu, Pranaya Meenukalude Kadal, Kettyolaanu Ente Maalakha, Prathi Poovankozhi, 41, Kamala, Thrissur Pooram, Happy Sardar and Valiyaperunnaal.
